LDE partner Jim Lynch is representing the Hay Beach Property Owners’ Association on Shelter Island in its opposition to the expansion of Gardiner’s Bay Country Club. The Club seeks a special use permit to construct a staff housing facility on AA Residential Zoned property. The widespread community opposition to the Club’s development plan stems from concerns that the proposed expansion will have negative consequences to the surrounding residential neighborhood and the Island’s limited natural resources.
