James R. Lynch, a founding partner of Lynch Daskal LLP, has been elected a member of the Board of Trustees of the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York (CCANY).
The CCANY represents a federation of more than 90 agencies, providing assistance to hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers, non-Catholics and Catholics alike.
CCANY-run adoption services, after-school activities, day care programs, summer camps, foster homes, and group homes help protect and nurture children from infancy through their teens. Its emergency meals program help feed the homeless, and CCANY shelters, temporary residences, and permanent affordable housing put rooves over the heads of the most vulnerable. Other CCANY programs help the physically and emotionally challenged, immigrants, and refugees.
Jim sees joining the CCANY Board of Trustees as a sacred privilege, and he is grateful for the opportunity it affords him to give back to the community and make a positive change in the lives of those in need.
