Nick represents Fortune 50 corporations and privately held businesses in complex, high-stakes litigation including mass torts, products liability, commercial, insurance coverage, and intellectual property litigation. He has successfully defended clients in inhalation cases, including alleged exposures to asbestos, talc, and vinyl chloride. He has prosecuted insurance coverage actions growing out of asbestos, environmental, and intellectual property cases.
His reported decisions include Rose Art Indus., Inc. v. Swanson, 235 F.3d 165 (3d Cir. 2000)(reversing the denial of a preliminary injunction in a family of trade dress case) and PFI v. Kulis, 363 N.J. Super. 292 (App. Div. 2003)(reversing a lost profits decision). Mr. Albano was an editor for William S. Greenberg’s Trial Handbook for New Jersey Lawyers (West Group 1999).
Nick received a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, magna cum laude, in 1998, where he was a member of the Cardozo Law Review and an H. Burt and Ruth Mack Scholar. He received a B.A. from Rutgers University, with honors, in 1995. Nick is a member of the Order of the Coif.
