Jim has been a trusted business advisor to numerous large and small companies for close to four decades.  He has implemented successful strategies for the defense of companies in commercial, employment, product liability, and mass tort matters.  Jim also acts as lead trial counsel in complex cases in federal and state courts across the country.  He has tried more than 150 cases, including numerous successful commercial and product liability trials.

Jim received a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1983 and a B.A. in economics from East Stroudsburg University in 1980, graduating first in his class.  Jim is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Florida.  He is on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, is a Senior Fellow of The Litigation Counsel of America, and is a member of the Diversity Law Institute.

Jim is an AV Preeminent peer-review rated attorney.  He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in the New York edition of Super Lawyers.  Jim is a Board member of The Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York.
